Serrano - Smoked, Whole

Serrano Peppers are meaty peppers grown in the mountain provinces of Mexico. Ripened to a reddish-brown the average 1-4 inches long. Serrano Peppers rate between 8,000 - 22,000 Scoville units. By smoking the Serrano Peppers we have enhanced the already hot and savoury flavour of these peppers.  Add Serrano Pepper Whole directly into sauces, chutneys, and salsa, or soak them for 10 minutes to rehydrate for easier dicing and pureeing.
