Nutmeg - Whole

The dried seed of the apricot-like fruit of an evergreen tree, myristica fragrans, of the Spice Islands, this rich, warm, highly aromatic spice is used in everything from sauces, stocks, meat entrees,  to desserts. Whole nutmeg retains the freshness of this essential spice.
