Cardamom - Green Pods
Green Cardamom Pods are native to India and used in many South Asian dishes. Containing an average of 20 seeds, these 1/2" pods incapsule the pungent and aromatic flavour of the seeds. A common ingredient in curries, Green Cardamom Pods can also be used in sweet dishes, teas, crème anglaise, soufflés, and fresh fruit. The labour intensive harvest makes this one of the worlds most expensive spices.
