Annatto Seeds - Whole

The rust coloured, triangular Annatto seed imparts an earthy flavour that can be described as slightly peppery with a hint of nutmeg. Averaging 1/2 cm wide, and with a malleable texture, Annatto seeds are a key ingredient in Achiote Paste, but also compliments beef, fish, seafood, stews and rice.
